Creating Projects
Creating a project page and adding information about your projects allows your audience to get a sense of what exactly you do.
Having the following materials prepped can help streamline this process:
A short summary or "elevator pitch" of your project (about 100 - 200 words).
A longer story about who you are and the work you do (about 300 - 500 words).
A gallery of good-quality photos saved as jpeg or png.
A video (optional) with an embeddable url.
1. Create a New Project
This will bring you to the page below:
2. Add Project Name and Size
You'll be prompted to add the project name and size.
In the finished example below, the project name is "BelleVue Farm" and it sits on 25 acres.
Proceed to the next step by clicking "save and next."
2. Add a Location
Add the approximate location of your project.
For Bellevue Farm, the location is Saint-Lazare, Quebec, Canada. The map on the top right of the finished project page auto-populates based on the location you select.
Proceed to the next step.
2. Add a Short Summary
Add a brief project summary. This should say what you are doing and how it benefits the environment.
This is a first pitch, so you'll want it to be concise and compelling.
3. Add a Longer Project Story
The Project Story gives those who are already interested more information about who you are and why they should be invested in your work. Readers will have to scroll down on your project's page to read this story.
Add a catchy title for the story to encourage people to read it.
Proceed to the next step.
4. Add Media
The main photo is shown at the top of the finished project page, next to the map.
The gallery photos are added in between the Summary and Story. Viewers can move through them.
Be sure to choose high-quality images so that they are engaging and crisp for viewers.
7. Review and Publish
Review your project information and media, and then save! Your project is now publicly visible in association with your Regen profile. Your profile page should now include a card for the project you added.
Made a mistake or something about your project changed? Don't worry, you can go back and edit it anytime. Just click "Edit Project" on the project card under your profile.
