Create an Organization

How to create an organization

You are limited to one organization per user account at this time.

1. Start the Creation Process

• Go to your user dropdown in the top right of the app and click “Create New Organization.”

• Alternatively, you can start from the user dashboard (top left) by selecting “Create a New Organization.”

Note: You must be logged in with Keplr and have at least 100 $REGEN. This amount covers gas fees and funds your organization’s DAO so it can pay gas fees for members.

2. Set Up Your Organization Profile

Fill in your organization details:

• Name

• Logo

• Background Image

• Description

• Links

• (Optional) Transfer your personal profile data — name, logo, background image, description, and links — to your organization profile.

3. (Optional) Migrate Existing Projects

If you already have projects linked to your user profile:

• You’ll be asked if you’d like to migrate them (including tradable credits and active sell orders managed by you).

• Select which projects (and respective credits/seller orders) you want to move.

4. (Optional) Provide Your Contact Info

If you haven’t already:

• Add your name and email address.

  • The email is used for notifications.

  • The name helps organization members identify who is performing actions.

5. Invite Members & Assign Roles

Invite members and assign roles. As the creator, you are automatically the Owner, but you can transfer ownership later.

Roles:

• Admin: Full control of users, projects, credits, and credit classes. (Must have a Keplr address and REGEN address)

• Editor: Full control of projects and credit classes, but cannot manage users or credits. (Must have a Keplr address and REGEN address)

• Viewer: Can view all data posts across all projects, including private data posts.

6. Fund Your Organization

Before completing setup, send 100 $REGEN to your organization account. This covers gas fees for your members so they can perform actions without needing their own REGEN.

7. Organization Setup Complete 🎉

Congratulations — your organization is now live!

You now have:

• An organization profile that represents your team or institution on Regen Network.

• An organization dashboard where you can manage your members, projects, and ecological credits in one place.

From here, you can begin adding new projects, inviting collaborators, and managing your organization’s activity directly from your dashboard.
